Hearthstone Garden Club was organized in 1978 to stimulate knowledge of gardening, encourage the art of flower arranging and related crafts, civic beautification, and to meet new friends and neighbors.
Over the years, the club has funded and planted hundreds of plants and trees, including the Friendship Garden in the community park, designed and maintained cul-de-sacs, participated in Arbor Day, and held youth workshops.
Organizations such as Brookwood Community, BCAM, Mission of Yahweh and Cypresswood Nursing Home benefit from our service projects. Through our annual Holiday Auction and Bake sale, we fund various community projects and provide scholarships to deserving students majoring in horticulture or landscape design.
Our regular monthly meeting are held at 7:00 pm on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, September through May, in the Ladies’ Locker Room at Hearthstone Country Club. Our programs include speakers on horticulture, landscaping, decorating as well as hands-on workshops. New members are always welcome. Come join us!
